As 2025 Ends, what is new for 2026 at the HOA

As 2025 Ends, what is new for 2026 at the HOA?

Need more involvement with the Board. People don't understand what an HOA is... It is a HOME OWNER ASSOCIATION ... HomeOwners.. YOU are the HOA, it is not a company or a entityrun by the management company.. It is YOU the owners... So what happens with the HOA is up to you. You want lower rates, you want better spending or your fees, you want better rules, you want better property..... Well then get involved with teh HOA, just don't show up at the meeting or send emails or voicemails when you are PISSED OFF.. get involved..

I can't tell you how many times people talk as if the HOA is not them... they think it is a company, or the management company..

IT IS YOU... So if you don't like it, change it...

1. Budget

2. Management Fees

3. Insurance

4. Water Use

5. Landscaping

6. Roofs

Water Cost in San Diego increase??

Water Bills going up in San Diego, CA. just heard that the city is voting to increase the water cost by 15% next year and another 15% in 2027.. When will they learn that San Diego is a Desert like town? Or they need to build more storage to store what rain they get? The cost of living in the area is getting out of control.

They need to figure this OUT ASAP.

LaCresta HOA - 2025

Well I have left La Cresta now in 2024 and relocated out of state. It was great living in the La Cresta HOA and San Diego, CA. but with the raising cost for insurance and the constant cost of living in the state. I decided it was best to leave.. But the La Cresta HOA needs more of the HOA Membership to get involved with the HOA and managing the property. It is the OWNERS that make the place a great place to live. The only way is for more people to be involved with the. It is sad to hear that the people think that the HOA is run by a company and not the Owners.

H O A - stands for Home Owner Association - the owners are the association. So they need to step up and make the HOA a better group.

HOA Summer - 2023 - What you need to know

Well the winter rain finishing up and spring time plants coming on. It is time to look forward to the Summer.. Pool Time - BBQ - Travel Trips.

1. - Swimming Pool - Please note the pool hours listed at the pool. Pool Closes at 10PM, make sure to keep the late evening partying noise level to a minimum. Also make sure young kids are not allowed to go to the pool unsupervised. The pool area has tables and chairs to use at the pool , but if you plan on a larger event, ask everyone to bring their own chairs or maybe an extra table. An ALWAYS CLEAN UP after your event. The HOA does not have a cleaning service for party clean-up. Also as a safety note, please report anyone you believe is not an owner or renter of the HOA. As well as if you see anyone climbing over the fences or opening the gates for NON- Residents.

2. BBQ - It is always fun to BBQ in the summer or  So. Cal, just about all year round. But please make sure you grills are NOT close to the building or under and plant material on your patios. Also be respectful of the smoke blowing onto your neighbors patio or unit windows. NEVER Leave the grills unattended. Do NOT take charcoal grills to teh pool area as well. cook at home and bring only prepaid food to the Pools.

3. Travel Time - When going out of town for an extended amount of time, let your neighbors know and maybe leave a spare key or the code for your garage. In-case there is a leak or some kind of emergency, someone can get into the unit and shut-off water or cut power. Also parking in the visitors  spots is limited to 3 days, before the car has to be moved. So park on the street or in the garage. Or have someone move it every few days. Please Contact the HOA on rules or advising while your gone with a emergency number or email as well.

Well I hope this little bit of info will help this summer and have a good year.
